THANKS FOR PLAYING is our follow-up to TEMPTING FATE and features our versions of the Janis Joplin/Big Brother classic "Piece of My Heart" and The Beatles "Eleanor Rigby". We kept "Piece" true to the original, but "Eleanor" has a different spin. Also included are several original compositions including "Everything", which is the first collaborative work by Mary & Tess.

Since we were searching for a new bassist when recording began, we decided to lay some of the bass tracks ourselves - Mary on "Piece"; Tess on both "Don't Let Go" & "Breathe" (dance mix), and *Mark Randall on "Eleanor". We enjoyed being stretched in a different direction and putting our skills to the test. Many of the new songs also feature Tess on acoustic guitar. When bassist Paul Soules joined, he added his talents to the remaining songs.

We worked with the legendary David Freiberg again @ Free Mountain Studio in Novato, CA. The CD artwork was designed by Ann St. James.
